Odds are you have two or more independent threads and when you hit the "RUN" button you are seeing the result of a thread running which doesn't run when you hit the "START" button.
Look for a thread other than the one you have connected to a START button and figure out what's wrong with that thread.
Remember RUN starts all threads while START just runs the thread it is connected to.

Need your help… I’m running VEE 6.0 on an XP Dell computer. The COM2 port reports error (811) when I hit the VEE run button. However when I run this by itself and launch it using the START button no error appears. I placed a bus I/O monitor in the user object and can see commands being sent (start button) and not sent (VEE run button).
Appreciate any insight into what may be causing this error…
