It seems once again that the uses of the parallel printer port as a general purpose I/O port have resurfaced. This time with me.
This application will be running on VEE5 and under Windows95, I came across in my archives copies of the two libraries that were written for VEE. One was originally written for VEE3 and Windows 3.11 (!) and the other was written for both Windows95 and NT, and the demonstration program was written more for NT then for 95.
Naturally I now need to know if anyone has found any working alternatives to what should called a matched pair of kludges. For those of you who want to know why I chose that much earlier release of Windows, it happens that the socket I/O object happens to work sending and receiving stuff from both Linux and Solaris 10.
