vrf Initialize Excel Library failing in VEE Runtime

Question asked by VRFuser on Aug 19, 2008
All the instances of "Initialize Excel Library" (i.e. the excel library that ships with VEE) within my code have started to fail.  They all give one of those VEE Serious Error boxes, saying Internal Error: Access Violation etc.  The error happens at the Import Library object within the userobject that you get if you choose Initialize Excel Library from the Excel menu.

These parts of my program don't get used very often so I don't know when this started happening.  All was OK when these bits of the code were first developed.  So I've probably changed something elsewhere that has inadvertently affected these sections of code - but I have no idea what.

Anyone have any similar experience, or any clues?

Using VEE 8.01

Regards,
Warren
