vrf "Continuous?" Slider in VEE 8.5 - works in runtime

Question asked by VRFuser on Jan 16, 2008
The "Continuous" Slider works correctly in the runtime format.
Unfortunately, I don't run all of my programs via runtime.

With Vee 8.5 Autoexec = True does NOT allow continuous change when slider is moved.

Looks like the behavior has changed.  I would like to see the ability to set properties on it to allow it.

Hi,

Try to change the Autoexec of the slider to True. I don't have VEE 8.5, so I can't check it.

VEE 8.5 Continuous slider is no longer continuous as it was in 8.0 and previous versions.

If the attached program is ran with version 8.5, the output pin will not fire unless the mouse button is released after dragging the slider. (bad)

If the attached program is ran with version 8.0 (and previous versions), the output pin fires as soon as the slider is dragged (continuously). (good)

Was it Agilent's intent to change the behavior of this object?
