vrf Initial Directory

Relative addressing would be relative to the system's "current directory". This may not be the same as the directory where the .vee/.vxe resides.

Have a look at the output from the built-in function 'commandLine()'.
With a bit of string manipulation you could assign the appropriate path to a variable on start-up; then use addressing of the form: myVar+"\data\data.text"

Hi All

Is there a way to assign the default directory for a vee program to be the location of the vee (or vxe) file?
I.e. if the file is saved as c:veeprg.vee then the home directory would be c:vee. Then can vee use relative directory addressing? As in a file in c:veedatadata.txt could be referred to as datadata.txt
