Hi Jochen,
Why do you want to change the logical ID? Does your OS can not solve the resource confliction between USB-GPIB and 8 port serial card?
Old ISA/EISA-gpib-card has switch on the card to set the logical ID to avoid its resource confliction with other hardware. Now all is settled with OS.
Best Regards,
Xiaoying

Subject: [vrf] How to change logical-ID of USB-GPIB (Agilent)
Hello,
i´m, using an Agilent USB-GPIB-Konverter 82357B which runs with the Agilent-IO-Libraries 15.
I also have an 8-port serial-card.
When i plug in the usb-gpib then it appears as Logical-ID 15 in the IO-Libraries.
Is there a way to change this number? I remember that in the pci-gpib-cards this value could be changed.
But where to change it for usb?
Thanks for any ideas.
best regards
Jochen Gallmayer
