Multimeter Tutorial: Taming Noisy Multimeter Readings, Making Stable DC and AC Measurements
Learn how to make stable AC and DC measurements in a noisy environment. Noise can be caused by electromagnetic interference (EMI), ground loops or by a signal that has both an AC and a DC component. Using the features built into an Agilent 34410A Benchtop Multimeter three techniques are demonstrated to produce a stable DC measurement. A stable AC measurement is also made of the same signal.
