Hi,
I have *.s1p files for two components (an antenna and rf power meter) and would like to create matching circuits between them at several frequencies. How can I use the antenna s1p file as source and the powerm s1p file as load terminal Z to simulate, for instance, S11 over frequency for a given matching circuit?
Thank you in advantage,
Tuomas

RefNets or in the ADS Help under Simulation > Simulation-Analog RF > Using Circuit Simulators > RefNets
Basically you can create two one-port schematic circuits each containing an S1P, a Port and a Ground, one for each of your S1P data files. Then you build the two port Linear Simulation schematic to simulate your matching network but instead of the normal Term elements you use two RefNetDesign Termination and refer one to the antenna S1P schematic network and one to the power meter S1P schematic network.
There is an example of how to do this at the end of the manual chapter linked above.
