vrf Change read only attribute on file from VEE

Question asked by VRFuser on Mar 20, 2001
Hi Kenth,

If you are only going to port your program to run on PC's, there's
nothing wrong with a good old fashion Execute Program (PC) box and
use the DOS Attrib command.  I like to build the command part in a
formula box first, then stuff it into the input terminal "COMMAND".

For example: ATTRIB -R C:AUTOEXEC.BAT will turn the RO flag off.
A +R will turn it back on.

Subject: vrf Change read only attribute on file from VEE

Hi

Does anybody have an idea of how I can get VEE to change the read only
attribute on a file. (Remove the read only flag)

I think I have to use a API function, but I couldn't find any info about it.

Any examples will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Kenth Jensen
