Hello -
I've got a N5771A power supply where when it turns on, it displays the "IEEE" screen, but I'm never able to adjust or turn the output on. It just hangs on that display forever. I've let it sit for several minutes and it never seems to enter normal operation. I don't have any GPIB control connected.
Is there a reset or something else I can try to restore normal operation?
Thanks
Adam

Assuming this is not a brand new instrument; a number of situations could present this behavior:
1) Not all positions of SW1 are firmly in the "down" position.
2) Instrument could have been damaged by using the J1 Analog connector incorrectly.
3) Instrument repair could have been attempted, without complete success.
There is no "reset" to restore normal operation from your currently described situation.
