Hello,
I have a very basic query. if we use 2 signal generators with output frequencies 1 GHz & 500 MHz respectively, The output of both generators is combined with resistor combiner/splitter. the output of the combiner is connected to a power meter. However the reading of the power meter is not stable. but when one signal generator is turned off, reading in the power meter becomes stable.
Why?
Is it because of the frequencies, the combiner or the power meter?
Kindly help!
