Hi the Group,
I've two 8648A signal generators having their switching power supply dead.
could you help in finding these or compatible ones?
They are "cheap" power supplies, made in Hong Kong, from COMPUTER PRODUCTS Power Division, model number NF896-7630 .
They look like PC power supplies technology but they have a different form factor and aren't encapsulated into a metal box, just the board is inside the 8648A sig gen.
It would be a crime to scrap these two signal generators just because these cheap power supplies become dead...
Many thanks in advance for your help.
All the bests.

The switching power supply is used externally with the 8648A. I cannot provide assistance or advice for accessories used with the 8648X which are not Agilent products.
You will need to check the data sheet of the switching power supply from the COMPUTER PRODUCTS Power Division prior to having it replaced.
