Is there a way of simulating the manual trigger key on the front panel of the 81110A through remote control (LAbview)?
cheers,

I haven't used this particular instrument, but in general you should be able to use the "*TRG" command to send a trigger to SCPI instruments.

thanks, I amanged to do it with the SYST:KEY: command to simulate the actual key press. I guess the TRG would be better. I am also having problems with intermittant communication timeouts when I try to send a command via GPIB. Any ideas?
