The ID compiler is still stay in VEE directory. You may see the idc.exe which is a DOS utility. You may execute it in DOS shell. Once you get id file, you can use it to convert to cid file.

Well, if your trying to run a .vxe that is of little help. But, I wrote a dummy program to use the .id driver and VEE did make the.cid for me.

Thanks, problem solved.

Did something change in VEE?  Previously it automatically did the conversion from .id to .cid and left the .cid on your hard drive.  Try the .id and see what happens.
