Agilent 34970A/34901A

we want to use our Agilent 34970A/34901A to log the temperatures of a electronic box during a test. Our customer has embedded some thermistances in the device, but these are 15ohm @25ºC with a beta=3695K.

We have checked in the user manual and it states that the Agilent 34970A/34901A will only operate with 2.2k, 5k and 10k thermistors. Is this true? Cannot we use our 15ohm thermistors?

We understand that we could monitor the resistance and later postprocess the values to extract the temperature, but it would be very useful to be able to see the actual temperature in real time with the included software (as can be done with our 10k thermistors).

Any idea about if this is feasible or possible ways to overcome this problem?

Thanks & best regards
