Why dont you do this in a batch file?
You can simulate a delay with the ping command.

Example test.bat:

@echo ON
@ping -n 2 -w 2000 > nul
@ping -n 2 -w 2000 > nul
@ping -n 2 -w 2000 > nul

This will execute two "dir´s" with a delay between.
