Why dont you do this in a batch file?
You can simulate a delay with the ping command.

Example test.bat:

***************
@echo ON
@ping 127.0.0.1 -n 2 -w 2000 > nul
dir
@ping 127.0.0.1 -n 2 -w 2000 > nul
dir
@ping 127.0.0.1 -n 2 -w 2000 > nul
Pause
*************

This will execute two "dir´s" with a delay between.

Best regards
Jochen
