vrf VEE 6 Pro, Matlab and Vista

Hi all
I use VEE6 Pro on a XP desktop.  I recently purchased a Vista laptop on which VEE 6 installed ok and runs so long as there are no matlab functions used in the program. Unfortunately when my programs access the Matlab functions I get the following VEE Run Time error:

Could not start Matlab Script Engine (-3) Object title: MATLAB Script BUTTER Object Type: MATLAB Script Error Number: 591

I have no other versions of matlab installed on the laptop, as suggested in some of the archives.

I also get a whole lot of Registry Key Errors including:
ect, etc, etc...... the point of having to restart the laptop in order to stop the reigistry key errors popping up.

Has anyone else had the same experience?
Is this another of those "Vista issues"?
Does anyone know of a work around so that I can run my VEE6 programs for data processing on the vista laptop?

As always, thanks in advance

PS: I searched the vrf archive and found one other reference to a similar issue with no replies....

I found out that Matlab scrips in VEE-Lab don't function in Windows Vista.

Is there any support?
