Hi VRF
Is there a way to trap events from a .NET or COM DLL in vee,
So that I can read a buffer each time it is full?
Regards
Henrik R. Jakobsen.

A question to answer your question - why do you want to hook into VISA-COM from VEE? There are plenty of other hooks in VEE to talk to instruments (and they take a wide range of routes down through the IO).
Now, I may be proved wrong here, but I think you will find the VISA-COM presents a COM interface, i.e. it does not behave as an ActiveX Server or ActiveX control. Thus, I think this will preclude its (easy) use within VEE. I spent a week trying to get VISA-COM working with VBScript - to now avail. I reverted to an ocx that is supplied with the 34401 Intuilink software that enables you to hook into VISA-COM that way (gives you an HP-BASIC style relationship with your IO). But again, why would you want to do VISA-COM from VEE?
Hope this helps,
Andy

HI,
I am trying to use VEE PRO 7.51 together with VISA-COM but it won't work.
Has anyone ever used this together?
Could the one please send me a sample program, so I know how to get started with it?
Thanks,
Tobias
