Oh yes, read the fu...... manual -sorry.
For those who gets in the same gap:

"
Notes
Line Chart settings ignores the ChartSheet setting and always places the
chart on the first or leftmost sheet. There is no work around.

The ChartSheet and DataSheet values are set to "Sheet1" by default. This
does not work in many non-English versions of Microsoft Office. For example,
in the German version of Microsoft Excel, the default value is "Tabelle1".
If you prefer to change the sheet names, change these two values. If you
want to use the default names, there is an easy way to these values
localized.

Disconnect the lines between the LineChartSettings object and the "Call
xlLib.CreateLineChart" object and connect a line from the output of the
bottom-left "Localize..." object to the input of the "Call
xlLib.CreateLineChart" object. This will modify the ChartSettingsRecord
values for the fields ChartSheet and DataSheet to a value that is correct
for the first existing worksheet for any version of Microsoft Office Excel.

Chart Type "Logarithmic" will not work in many non-English versions of
Microsoft Office. To make it work, first, open Excel, do Insert  Chart and,
in the Chart Wizard dialog, go to the second tab, "Custom Types". Note the
spelling of the custom type for Logarithmic. For example, in German Office
this is "Logarithmisch".

Next, go to the Create Line Chart object and open it. Near the top left you
will see a formula with some instructions and a line similar
to:xlApp.ActiveChart.ApplyCustomType(xlBuiltIn, "Logarithmic"); Follow the
instructions for this formula.

Excel only accepts this Chart Custom Type string value as localized in the
version of Microsoft Office. Yet Excel does not provide these localized
names. Thus there is no way for the Excel Library to do this for you.

Sorry for waking up

Betreff: [vrf] V7.5 Excel Localisation --Bug ?

There are still some problmes with  the new Excel lib and the localisation
to different languages for excel.
Here is a sample.
You can not choose the sheet for the LineChartSettings, either sheet 1..3 or
Tabelle 1..3 did not work in the german Excel version.
But X-Y Chart do !
Have a look for the code.
Or do I miss something?

Thanks,
detlef
