Clif,
You might want to look as JSPayne and see if you could use that instead. It is very user friendly and easy to use.

Subject: [vrf] WIN98 DLL (Parallel Port)

All,
We recently upgraded our test systems from WIN98 to XP. The test program loads a custom WIN98 parallel port DLL to communicate with the device under test for configuration purposes. When making a call to the DLL VEE reports a system error. We thought this could possibly be addressed through the utilization of the inpout32.dll, but unfortunately this hasn’t helped.
I suspect the solution is to re-write the DLL or develop a wrapper. Appreciate your recommendations on what would be the simplest approach.
Respectfully,
Clif
