vrf AW: Changing line color of x-y plot - Enumeration values

Question asked by jcpark on Jan 28, 2005
One other handy number.......(at least I thought so) is the Default panel
color (light blue grey).

The RGB values for this are

R-198
G-211
B-222

Can be useful when trying to integrate ActiveX displays or indicators onto a
VEE panel, without having a border.

Regards,

OK, in case the horse wasn't quite dead enough...

Here's a complete table including VEE6 & VEE7. VEE7 data
was obtained by setting the values or a graph using control
inputs, then looking at the results in the Properties area.
The descriptions are their words, not mine. As Shawn pointed
out, a DashDot LineType appears like a LongDash ShortDash,
rather than a true Dash Dot.

VEE7 also changed some terminology on us, by using "Color",
"LineStyle", and "PointStyle" in the Properties area, but
still requiring the older "Pen", "LineType", and "PointType"
when submitting these values to a graph via record input.
IMO, they just added another layer of confusion to an already
under-documented feature of VEE. As some of you may have found
out for yourselves, the info below is nowhere to be found in
the VEE6 or VEE7 online help files.

VEE6    Pen              LineType          PointType

* "Unknown" LineType is displayed without error as "None".

Sure hope this helps somebody out there. At least it will be
in Shawn's archive for future generations.
