Hello from Gregg C Levine
Nah. I think they simply finally got around to changing it to just
att.net. I do know that imbecilic merger won't be complete until the
Feds give their official sign-off on the paper work. I do know that my
mail works both ways. You can reply privately to my current e-mail
address as I've written it below. Or delete the worldnet and it will
still get to me.

Some of you may recall my earlier grouching regarding the transmission
of serial data to a running VEE program. Even with the serial cable
supplies by a fellow member who shall remain nameless for the moment,
I had problems.
It turns out that the problems were with my end, not the software
creation that the VEE program was. I needed to create a port using the
right devices. Right now I've got a simple device constructed using an
SN7437 quad NAND gate arrangement, and a DS275 Line-Powered RS-232
Transceiver, and for variety a Hall Effect switch made by Allegro.
Activity indicators are a pair of HLMP-1600 LED lamps.
So far it works, and I've managed to see data arrive at the VEE end.
Well I'm seeing data be displayed in the alphanumeric indicators.
But I still have work left to complete the whole port. That chip was
chosen for its simplicity. It does not have the features of the ones
made by another company, actually the parent company; the one who made
the chip is now a subsidiary of the parent company.
Private message for Shawn.
And for Shawn's sake, I confess I'm not the genius our friend Doctor
Who always insists he is. Just close enough to be that sort of person.
I know my father thinks I'm the wizard of stuff when it comes to
wiring things.
And it was the curse of the Fendahl which caused your DNS problems
