have Office 2003 installed on it. I'm using VEE 6.0. I also have an
instrument connected to the USB port for CAN communication in a vehicle.
My program is modular in nature. I have Libraries written in VEE, that I
import in my main program.
If I run my library by itself, it's fine. I can communicate to my DUT
through the USB port with a Netway box. If I start my main test program,
and Excel is running. I can communicate to my DUT a few times before it
stops working. If I close out of my program, and reload the library it
runs fine.
If I restart my main program, but stop it before I open the excel file,
then go and execute the individual functions to open the communications
port to my Netway box, then run my functions, they all work as designed.
If I run this same library and test program on another PC with windows
2000, every thing is fine.
Does anyone know of any issues with Windows/Office 2003 and USB ports?
Thanks'
Tom Mitchell
