I have a question for HP 8590A spectrum analyzer CRT adjustment.
My 8590A's CRT display is slightly tilted (grid is rotated). I only find horizontal and vertical position adjustment. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the rotation?
Thanks a ot.

There is no adjustment, as such, for a "tilted" display. The CRT in the 8590A is a magnetic deflection CRT. A tilted display is usually due to the yoke being rotated on the neck of the CRT.
You'll have to pull the monitor assembly out of the chassis - a bit of a pain.
Remove the monitor, take off the case and loosen the yoke clamp on the neck of the CRT. (It may already be loose). Rotate the yoke and check to see if the display is level. Readjust as needed. (A set of jumper cables helps).
Be careful as you remove the monitor - the power ON/OFF switch is mounted under the monitor and it is more fragile than it should be.
Good Luck
