Using Georg's test, observe the time difference. Now switch back to
automatic time adjustment and run the test again. This time no offset
appears!!?
So is it ADO or is it VEE? If you make the following changes you don't see
this: open database in a front end (i.e. Access). Delete all records &
close. In VEE, remark out MoveFirst. Add logic in read to check for null
value & display 0 if null. Now no matter what you do with the clock you
don't see this.
Or is it an April Fools joke? So Georg is replying to Georg as Andrew? And
he's saying something about the file system when we're talking about a
DbDateTime field in a database? I think we done been spoofered!
