vrf Matlab in VEE7.51 is not working if VEE6.01 is installed on the same computer

Question asked by manfred.weiss on Nov 17, 2005
Hi Shawn,

I just tried the same thing on a second computer were also this Matlab Error occurs and there I found a different program (I even dont know the purpose of this program) that also contained many of the Matlab DLLs. After renaming the whole program folder of this program I tried the VEE7.51 Matlab example and it also worked.

Cool! This happens a lot with popular third-party stuff. Sometimes, if you know what other program contains the offending libraries you can get around it by modifying the PATH (if it's in the path). Your solution certainly works
