vrf VEE 7.5 released

Question asked by VRFuser on May 2, 2005
Hi vrf-ers,

Good news, we announced VEE Pro 7.5 yesterday!

VEE 7.5 has a lot of new features:

- Excel Library, which integrates the Vxl technology from PASS
Technologies into VEE

- NIDAQ, which allows VEE to use a variety of data acquisition and
modular instrument products with the ease of VXIplug&play drivers

- IVI-COM becomes almost as easy to use as VXIplug&play, because it's
now in the Instrument Manager where it belongs, and it works very much
like VXIplug&play

- .NET operation builder is a new feature that makes it much easier to
use .NET

- .NET controls can now be dropped directly onto your VEE worksheet, and
are handled very similar to ActiveX Controls (but the .NET operation
builder makes them easier than ActiveX!)

- and some more stuff

Anyway, when you get a chance, go to <> to learn

We won't be shipping VEE 7.5 (or upgrades) till about mid-June, but a
fully functional eval should be downloadable from ADN in about 4 weeks
or so. I'll announce to the vrf when it goes online.

Upgrades: if you had a valid VEE or DEV (VEE bundled with Toolkit)
Support Entitlement as of May 1, 2005, you're entitled to a free upgrade
to 7.5. But if you haven't already done so, you must take your
gold-colored Support Entitlement Certificate for VEE or DEV, go to
<>, and register your support
entitlement. When the upgrade kit is ready, we'll email to all entitled
and registered users to let you know that you can request it. Don't try
to request it before you see that email.

Best Regards,
