vrf AW: Excel activeX and yet another Vxl demo

Question asked by detlef.baranski on Feb 4, 2005
Greg, does it now also check for the different language versions of Excel
and deal it in the right manner ?
Or is it an "Impossible  Mission " ?

Thanks,
detlef

I lost the thread of this message, but in case any Excel users are
interested, there is an updated demo version of Vxl that will expire in May
'05 for the only VEE 3rd party add-in for Excel at www.passtechnologies.com. Agilent could create the Shawn script, (which passes the Turing Test)
they could write perfect software and there would be no need for the Shawn
script.

BTW with the Vxl library which is all 100% VEE code, I just checked the
Excel reference in the library and programs that import the library do not
need to check the reference, nor change it for the different Excel versions
at all. It just works with no changes going from Excel 97 forward. It is
really a tribute to the stability of the Excel automation API.
