> Is this idea suitable for the basic requirement I need?
It's kind of hard to say exactly (I don't know NI all that well), but this
article seems to imply that mx Base 7.5 is the minimum version. So if you
install NI-DAQmx Base you should have everything you need.

There's also a VB 6 example here:

(one line)
There's a *lot* more overhead than in the old way. The example can be pretty
much directly translated to VEE.

Right click on the right side of the panel. It brings up a menu
which includes "Add Terminal -> Data Output." Click that, then select
the component you want (if you know the name.) If you don't know the
name, use "Select Terminal by Component", then click on the widget
you want to output. Wire either of these to the Excel file.

Hi,
" NI-488.2 and Agilent IO Libraries 14.1 cannot coexist on the same system. "
Yes, we just run in to it when doing some upgrading (including VEE 7.52).
See the link
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/CC53752D661A912B862570B60080C019
"Agilent IO Libraries 14.0 and prior versions do not exhibit this behavior and thus should not produce this problem."
We found this "patch2_iolibs_suite_14_1_8310_1.exe" but it still fails.
We will try to find a working combination by stepping down in versions.
Any body got a workaround/idea for the future or are we standing against a wall now?
Or have we missed something ?
These things has been OK for some 10+ years so why this now ?
Regards,
Allan
