I have a couple of questions for the group. I'm preparing to distribute a VEE 7.5 run time program of mine to other users, and I'm trying to understand this one issue that I have with this. I saved all of my configurations in my file, and I installed the IO libraries 14.0 before I installed the VEE Run time version of the software. When I run my file, I get an 811 error message. If I run IO config, and change the Alias of my 34980A to my setting USB34980A, it runs fine. I don't want to have my users run IO config, and enter the Alias name(s) for all of the instruments. Is there an easy way of having the IO config file sent along with all of the Alias'?
Also, on my laptop which I need to install this software, it does not support the same resolution that my desk top does. Is there a way to check the system that the program is being run on, and adjust the display panel size automatically? I'm using 1280 x 1024 on my desk top, and when I set that on my Laptop, I get the display off the page, and I need to scroll down, and to the right to see the display.
Thanks
