vrf USB devices and VEE

Question asked by VRFuser on Feb 2, 2006
Hello (again) from Gregg C Levine
It happens that FTDI during the later part of last year quietly announced the release of better versions of the family of devices now being used to build USB interfaces.

And the reason why this is being brought up? About the same time period they also released their own evaluation modules, for example one is an RS232 module, and the other supports the parallel method.
The one I chose is indeed the parallel one.

They provide the usual virtual comm port drivers, and a collection of DLL based libraries. Has anyone managed to use those libraries to talk to a FTDI module via VEE?
