Sascha,

What's your processor utilization during editing?
Is there sufficiant RAM to keep it from paging?
Just a couple of thoughts.

Subject: [vrf] Hotkey Troubles

Hi All -

does anyone have problems with hotkeys not working properly in vee 7.0?

I seem to struggle quite a bit with hotkeys having to press them several
times before they works.
This happens occasionally but consistently.

Often Ctrl-C needs to be pressed several times before Ctrl-V pastes the
object that was selected during Ctrl-C.

More problematic than a copy not working was the case when Ctrl-A/Ctrl-D
to add/delete terminals misbehaved a few times which gave me terminals
in a user function other than the one I was editing at the time!!!
I know this sounds strange..

I tried to add a terminal to a object within a user function. The object
was selected and the mouse was over the input
terminal area of the object but nothing happened. So I hit it Ctrl-A
several times until I re-selected the object and eventually got the
terminal. I ran the program and got an error about unconnected
terminals.
I jump to the location and found that I had added several terminals to
another UF, the window of which was behind the UF that I was editing at
the time. So it seems there might be something going on with the mouse
focus not being updated properly? Wild guess...

This problem occurs on two independent, non-identical computers but I
don't exclude the possibility of this being caused by some third party
software that is installed on both machines... (It occurs to me that a
key logger could maybe cause such
a behaviour but I have tested both systems thoroughly and they both pass
As-Aware, SpyBot etc)

Either way I thought I might see if anyone else is having similar
problems..

Regards,
    Sascha
