AW: vrf Grayed buttons

One cheat is to put another button over the wanted one via a panel - command show and hide panel.
 
I am not sure , but i believe that the change of "grayed out" duriing runtime is not easy up to Vee7.5......wait and see

This is probably a simple question but:
 
I'm trying to gay out some buttons so they can be used some times and not others.  Does anybody have a solution to this?
