vrf Open & Close Excel through Vee DDE

Question asked by gregwale on Mar 21, 2002
Deependra,

You can easily do all that with ActiveX Automation instead of Execute
Program. There are exampels of ActiveX shipped with Vee, but you have to
have versions 5.0 or better yet 6.0. There is no ActiveX support in prior
Vee versions. You should know a Vee add-in called Vxl now exists for
connecting Vee with Excel at http://www.passtechnologies.com. this helps.

I am able to open Excel using the "Execute Program(PC)" however, I
would
now like to close the program without saving - How do I accomplish
that?
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Thanks,

Warm Regards,
