vrf Reading MS Access database with Active X

In addition to the Richedit control, check out the Listview control or
FlexGrid - both are more "spreadsheet-like" than the Richedit. If you're
looking for a programmable text table, the FlexGrid is probably more
developer-friendly than the Listview. I know it will do different background
colors in individual rows - I can't remember if it does different background
colors in individual cells though.

The Listview will do different foreground and background colors on all items
and subitems (in report view).
