Hi Les,

Try changing the path in the VEE program, rather than moving the dll; Windows won't like that.

I would think that User32.dll really should be in System32 though - I haven't ever used ME for anything serious, so I wouldn't know.

Cheers

Hi Paul
I tried your program (I'm using vee 5 on a Windows ME system) and initially it couldn't find the user.dll as it was looking for it in c:windowssystem32 but the dll was in the c:windowssystem directory. I copied it into c:windowssystem32 and tried the program and this time it worked but when it finished I got an error stating:   "Explorer has caused an error in KRNL386.exe. Explorer will now close" and then the computer locks up requiring a reset. Any idea what's causing the problem and how to correct it?

thanks in advance

    Les

kk, VEE 5 version for those who need it.

I cannot test this one fully as my VEE 5 box has no sound card - hope it works

Cheers
