Hi
I managed to control a Logitech Quickcam 3000 webcam via ActiveX in VEE.
It was pretty simple cause it was posible to download a really good programmers guide on their website.
We are using this camera for recording video sequences but I think it's also posible to take snapshots with it.
Regards
Kenth Jensen

Subject: [vrf] camera control
Hi,
I got a question from one of the users if it is possible to control a camera
within Vee, the camera has an USB port. He wants to switch the camera on and
off to monitor a process.

I try to save all VRF mails but they take up diskspace on my computer...
And really active topics could be high-lighted on root level.
I would really like to get a structure on all VRF tips, tricks and questions!!!

Hello from Gregg C Levine
I know this sounds preposterous, but here goes. What about, instead of
actually sending the file along with the mail message, post instead a
link for some place where the actual file can be found. That can be the
original location where the file lives, or your own website/ftp site.
Personally I think that the most of the scanners out there, don't know
what to look for. Norton does, but he's too good at it.
