AW: vrf Reading e-mail with Vee

Question asked by aufenanger on Feb 5, 2002
This is no problem at all, because Outlook can be called through ActiveX. So
reading an email is possible. Answering a messagebox is more tricky because
usualy you wait for an answer. You have to build your program that you loot
to both. The email and the messagebox.

Betreff: vrf Reading e-mail with Vee

Greetings All
I have a routine in an ATE that will e-mail me when the test has finished,
or has encountered certain problems, or is waiting for user input.  Does
anyone know if there is a way to have Vee check for a response via e-mail,
and use the response to answer the question posed by a message box?
(I'm using Vee 5 and Microsoft Outlook)
Thanks in advance
