If the operator does not enter a serial number within approximately 10 minutes the computer starts to beep e.g. an audible bell is heard from the computers speaker about once a second.</FONT></P><P><FONT FACE="Arial">I didn't put this into the program and was wondering if this is something automatic with VEE. Has anybody else experienced this ?</FONT></P><P><FONT FACE="Arial">Ross</FONT></P></BODY></HTML>
Is there a more elegant way to split an Int32 into two valid Int 16's (signed) i.e. MSB and LSB? Currently I write the number to a binary file as an Int32 and read it back as an Int16.
Any help would be appreciated.
