Hi Stuart,

Reading your post, I'm not exactly sure what it is you are trying to do.
If you want to remote control the other PC (and the instruments on it),
I recommend Symantec's pcAnywhere. I've controlled PC's all over the US
from my home office. Very easy to setup and use. Has several encryption
options for accessing PCs over the internet or large intranets.  If you
are looking for something simple yet powerful, it's hard to beat.

If you are looking to do this from within VEE, then Stan's answer will
certainly help you along in that direction.

Cheers,
Mike Groves

Hi All,

Has anyone got any advice on remotely accessing a GPIB instrument that is
hanging off another PC which has a GPIB card that is connected to a LAN.

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance,
