vrf Image Processing using VEE?

I have successfully used VEE with NI ComponentWorks IMAQ to do much of what
you describe.  You should be comfortable with using ActiveX within VEE
before going this route as there is no VEE-specific support available.  Many
of the VB IMAQ examples can be made to work with a little interpretation.
This route is a little pricey, you may have to get ComponentWorks
Measurement Studio as well (we did, can't remember if it was _necessary_).

Good luck,

Subject: vrf Image Processing using VEE?

Dear All,
I have a project where, given a digital video signal frame whose format is
not yet determined, I will do some image processing such as edge detection,
area calculation, shape recognition, etc. I am new to this area and I have
not used VEE in these types of application. Probably I will have to use
MATLAB scripts which I have not used before.
Should I try to utilize VEE for this application or look for alternative
platforms? Recommendations and case examples will be greatly appreciated.
