I am trying to build test stand operating systems from existing libraries of
UserFunctions. The 'Import Library' object pulls in the libraries as
expected, but when I saved the file, I was surprised to see that the
imported UserFunctions where excluded. I checked the Help files and found
this to be how it is supposed to be. I also realized that imported
libraries are view only. What I need is to 'Merge Library'. Is there a way
to do this programmatically?

time from the pull-down menus. However, I would caution against it since
having mutliple versions of the same code quickly becomes a maintenance and
upgrade nightmares, and defeats the whole purpose of having libraries. If
you are concerned about it being read-only, you can open multiple copies of
VEE, with your main version in own window and the library in another. You
can then edit the library, save it, then re-run the main, which will then
grab the new library.
Hope this helps..
