vrf Excel will not quit--Revisited

Your attached program works fine on my computer (i.e. Excel shuts down
correctly).  However, I have had the same problems you are experiencing in
the past and found the problem thanks to folks on the VEE reflector.  The
problem was that I had two personal.xls files on my computer and the
solution was to eliminate one of them.  Do a file search on your whole
computer to see if you have the same problem.

Subject: vrf Excel will not quit--Revisited

Fellow VEE Users,

Thanks for all the replies on how to make Excel quit.  I tried deleting all
the referenced variables and I still can not get Excel to quit.  I am not
the best at understanding the Visual Basic part of the ActiveX Automation.
I have attached an example file from Agilent (Excel97a.vee) which came with
version 5.01.  Can someone take this example and add the needed programming
to have Excel quit properly and send it to me.  I just don't get it!  I feel
real stupid about this problem.  But I would rather look stupid to a lot of
you advanced users than to not try to understand how quitting Excel works.
I would appreciate someone mentoring me on this subject.

Thanks for any help,
