I recently developed some software to read temperatures via thermocouples. The program displays 30 to 40 temperatures and
logs the data every 1/2 hour.
The thermocouples are connected to a VXI chassis via MUX cards and the voltages are read via a 1411 voltmeter.
I communicate remotely with the chassis by means of a E5810 gateway.
When I ran the program using the Vee Pro version 6.0 development environment it was quite fast.
Recently I created a runtime version and set it up to operate on another computer. This machine has the same processor ( a Pentium
III, 450) and 450 Megs of RAM however the Runtime Program seems to execute much more slowly.
I wondered if anyone out there has encountered the same problem and if so have you found a solution?
Thanks in Advance -- Steve
