vrf Color BAD!

Question asked by reiner.schlieker on Aug 28, 2003
Mark,

I've had a similar problem when I changed the default colours on my
development machine, and then expected the panels to look the same on the
target machine.  Any colour left as "default" in the object will revert to
whatever the default colour is on the system it's running on.  Also, the
defaults for the development and runtime system are separate (stored in
vee.rc).  Either make the defaults the same on both machines or dev and
runtime, or specifically choose the colour for the object, even if it's
already displaying it in that colour, so that it is no longer "default". VEE
6 introduced save colours and fonts with program which might solve your
problem, but I haven't tested it.

Hey VRF'rs

I have a VEE program that works fine in the development environment but the
colors on some objects in some panels have changed back to the default color
in runtime? Has anyone had this happen to them? What causes it? How do you
fix it? Why does it happen in 6.01 and 6.2? Is Shawn really a computer? J/K
Shawn!
