vrf Announcements - new VEE revision and a VEE Roadmap

Question asked by VRFuser on Aug 20, 2003
Hi Scott,

Has Agilent figured out a way to allow people to evaluate a future "full
function" version, WITHOUT screwing up the registry and path assignments of
a CURRENT working version on a PC, after the time limit is up and the user
has chosen to uninstall it? This has always been a major drawback of
evaluating a future version on a PC that has a current version already
installed. I know XP has some features built-in to assist in this, but not
everyone has XP. Any new ideas, or is it going to be the same old hassle?

Thanks,
Mike Groves

The advantage of a full-functionality evaluation will be really apparent
when we introduce 7.0 and you're able do a full-functionality "try before
you buy" for 30 days and check out all the new features without hindrance.
