vrf Annoying Auto Input Terminal

Question asked by VRFuser on Dec 11, 2002
Jan,
The problem you're seeing can be remedied by declaring your global variables first somewhere in the program, or running your program to the point where the global variables are initialized.  Basically, if VEE "knows" the variable name you're trying to use in your IO transaction (i.e., it has been declared and/or initialized), it won't add the terminal on the input side of the box.  I don't know of any other way to turn this feature off, though.  Hope that helps.

Subject: [vrf] Annoying Auto Input Terminal

Hi

When, in VEE 6.0 Pro, I add or edits a Write transaction in Direct I/O,
VEE automatically adds an input terminal with the same label as the variable I use in the transaction.
There is probably a good thought behind this, but it becomes very annoying when
I often use global variables and don't want any extra input terminals for these.

Does anybody know if there is a way to disable this function?
