vrf Serial ports, and the DS275

Question asked by hansolofalcon on Feb 27, 2002
Hello from Gregg C Levine writing for myself
I have an interesting problem here. I have an instrument, which uses the
Dallas Semiconductor (Now part of Maxim) DS275, to connect to the host.
I have constructed the cable, to the host, exactly the way the company
wants it, but I am not getting anything other then complaints when I try
to get the part to work with a program in the VEE environment. I am
using the Direct I/O object for this. Has anyone worked with this part
before?
