vrf Record view on a panel

Question asked by VRFuser on Aug 27, 2002
You can put a record constant on your panel view, then add a "Default value"
control input to the record constant.  Feed your record into that control
input.  It will also accept a record array.
Or you can display the record in an alphanumeric object but it's not very
easy to read.

Subject: [vrf] Record view on a panel

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to add a record view to a panel?  What
I would like to do is show the user  what the contents of a record looks
like so that they can decide whether it is correct or not.  The
Create/Edit/View Record pop-up would be ideal but I cannot find a way to add
this to a panel or to get it to appear during execution.  The only way I can
find to do this is to create a custom panel and put each field of the record
into a separate AlphaNumeric display on the panel.

Thanks
