It sounds as if the registered file type got changed for VEE programs toVXE. Under Win2000 and Vee 5.0,
For VEE programs:
default action: open
Command: "C:Program FilesHewlett-PackardVEE5.0vee.exe" "%1"
For VXE programs:
default action: open
"C:Program FilesHewlett-PackardVEE 5.0veerun.exe""%1"
Check these settings in your OS.

I can get into it byfirst clicking on the vee icon and then open the program.
Any suggestions on this?

My DUT (Device Under Test) has 3 control pins and I hope to send '0' and '1' signal automatically from notebook to them through parallel port because I don't have enough power supplys.
I am just familiar with instrument command and don't know about port control.
Do you have any idea for this?
Thanks & Regards,

The agilent link is for their peekpoke and example file and the jspayne is a
driver (ActiveX) you can download as a sample but need to purchase to use
for a final application. The peekpoke is easier for NT and win2000 and the
jspayne is easier for win95, win98 etc. I have contacted jspayne and the
.ocx file is compatable through winxp, but is a little trickier to use.

e-mail me if you need more help with them.

Could you send me any example program written with Peekpoke or IO.OCX?
Now I am thinking about purchasing IO.OCX and like to see an example.
